Terms of use
Last updated 2 September 2026
These are the terms for using the Bunya app and this website. They are written in plain English, because a human wrote them.
Who's who
“Bunya” is an iPhone app made by Biliby Pty Ltd, a small company registered in New South Wales, Australia (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person reading this on a device.
Using the app and the site
You can use this website freely. You can use the app on any device you own, in line with Apple's App Store terms. Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, or sell the app. Otherwise, use it the way it's meant to be used: to keep your family's plan on pace.
Your records are yours
Everything you put into Bunya — plans, entries, receipts, providers — belongs to you and stays on your phone. We don't claim ownership of it, we can't see it, and we won't use it for training models, advertising, or anything else. Export it whenever you like.
Bunya Plus
Bunya Plus is a one-time purchase made through the App Store. The purchase, billing and any refunds are handled by Apple under their terms; the usual way to request a refund is through reportaproblem.apple.com. Plus is tied to your Apple account — restore it on a new phone from the Bunya Plus screen at no charge.
The numbers are your records, not advice
Bunya does careful arithmetic on figures you provide. It is not connected to the NDIA, and its balances aren't official — when it matters, confirm against the my NDIS portal or your plan manager. Nothing in the app or on this site is financial advice, and rules about NDIS budgets change; check anything important with your plan manager, support coordinator, or the NDIA.
Bunya is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Disability Insurance Agency.
Warranties and liability
The app is provided “as is”. It's crafted carefully, but it's made by a very small team, so occasionally there will be bugs — tell us and we'll fix them. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the app or website is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing here limits the rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
If we ever wind it down
You can stop using Bunya any time; your data is on your phone and exportable. If we ever discontinue the app, we'll give as much notice as we can — and because everything is stored locally, the app and your records keep working on your phone regardless.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and bump the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
